I get the question all the time, what is Under Christruction? In reply, I give a little smile and say, "It's about believing, receiving, and building your life on Jesus Christ." When you know Jesus as your Shepherd and not just as your Savior, you begin to grasp the comparison of a relationship over a religion. What many people may lack in understanding is Jesus wants you to have good success and prosper in ALL areas of your life. His finished work at the cross shows His love and tender mercy that He has for the whole world, by believing alone!
The focus of Under Christruction is to magnify Christ and teach a Spirit-led life. When someone says they live by the Bible, they are actually living by what their mind can understand, which is limited. They are living by the analytical reasoning of their mind, moreover, being Spirit-led is a more free-flow way of living. The Bible doesn't always tell us how or when, but the Spirit guides us into all prosperity and truth. Over time, on this site, you will learn about meditating on the word, breaking down the scripture, Bible promises, Hebrew/Greek translations, and stories from the word that will how you to apply teachings to your life.
May Under Christruction manifest peace and grace in your life by increasing in the knowledge of God and Christ. The more peace and grace is multiplied, the clearer God's view and voice become to us. What is the point of setting goals if they aren't God-inspired goals? Your life is to be built upon Christ and apart from Him, you can do nothing in life.
Take heed what you hear and take heed how you hear the word of Christ (Mark 4:24, Luke 8:18). What you hear and how you hear the word of Christ is the prerequisite to how you get blessed. Not every message from the word of God will produce blessings in your life. If you listen to or read messages centered on your own efforts, then your works will be based on your own efforts. The more you think God is about laws and principles, the more ineffective God becomes. When you listen to Christ-centered messages, the golden oil pipe of grace will never stop flowing.
There's one parable that sums up the ever flowing pipe of grace in John 15, the True Vine. Jesus answered, "I am the vine, you are the branches. He who abides in Me, and I in him, bears much fruit; for without Me you can do nothing."
Take a second and think about the relationship between a vine and branch. The vine can survive independently from the branch and produce more branches when needed. On the other hand, the branch cannot survive independently from the vine. To understand the deeper revelation of the relationship between the vine and branches, the sap(life) that flows through the vine, flows through the branches. Can the vine be healthy and the branch not be healthy? There's only one way which is if the branch is tied up, clogged up or the sap stopped. Can a branch be rich and the vine poor? No such way!
On a vine, fruit grows on the branches. Much like when people see your life and see how blessed it is because of the goodness of God, they want to know your secret, so we point them to the source. Fruit always has to have three necessary conditions: the sun, rain, and good soil. Well my friend by being born again, we have all three!
First, we have the Son, "Then Jesus spoke to them again, saying, 'I am the light of the world. He who follows Me shall not walk in darkness, but have the light of life." (John 8:12). Second, we have an abundance of rain, "He shall come down like rain upon the grass before mowing, like showers that water the earth." In the Bible, the Holy Spirit is an image of rain. (Psalm 72:6). Third, we have been planted in great soil, "But grow in the grace and knowledge of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. To Him be the glory both now and forever. Amen." (2 Peter 3:18). When you grow in grace, holiness is a fruit.
